Micki (they/them) is The Owner of HATCH Hair & Company in Columbia City Seattle. They have been a hairstylist since 2015, and is a dedicated advocate for authentic self-expression. Specializing in short haircuts, mullets, and shags, Micki's chair is a safe haven for the lgbtqia2s+ community. As a queer barber, Micki recognizes the importance of creating providing gender non-conforming haircuts that might be elusive in conventional barbershop as well as a space where everyone feels seen and heard. Their chair is not just a place for a haircut; it's a sanctuary for self-discovery, empowerment, and genuine connection. Kelly (they/them) is a long term Seattle transplant originally from Oakland, California. They are new to barbering and are currently an apprentice of Micki (@thebarbermicki) though they have been lovingly known as the backyard barber to their friends and comrades for a couple of years. Kelly is excited to become a barber because they love the confidence that comes from a new haircut and want to be able to offer that to their community and friends. They are especially excited to learn clipper cuts, shags, mullets, and all the other ~trendy~ queer styles. In their free time, Kelly is passionate about building a better and more just world and finds the most joy as a dog parent to their sweet (though endearingly poorly behaved) pitbull, Ruby.Business Hours

Cancellation Policy
Cancellation Policy
Any cancellations or reschedules done within the calendar week of your appointment time are subject to 50% of the service cost. While I am booked out so far, it is difficult to fill last minute spots within the week.
Canceling or rescheduling your appointment within two days of your appointment date will occur at a 100% service charge.
We have a 10 minute late policy. If you are more than 10 minutes late your appointment may need to be rescheduled, and you will be charged the same day cancellation fee.
All no shows will be charged 100% of the scheduled service cost.
